Paracas & Nazca

The National Reserve of Paracas, including Ballestas Islands, is a rich coastal ecosystem, home to the most beautiful marine fauna. Further afield are the cities of Ica and Pisco, birthplace of Peru’s national drink, pisco. A few hours later we find the famous Nazca lines can only seen from the air, which are outlined in the sands of the desert around 600 AD, and its origin remains a mystery.
